Below, you will find a description of the venue for OzOmnis 2006. We believe that we have also found the ideal venue for OzOmnis - we are in a secluded part of northern Sydney in absolute beautiful surroundings.



ABOUT THE CONFERENCE FACILITY


The Westpac Conference Centre is completely surrounded by reserve land, and is situated on a plateau overlooking Narrabeen beach. A ferny creek, running along the northern boundary of the property harbours an abundance of native wildlife. It is nestled 27kms north of Sydney CBD on 8 acres of landscaped native gardens and natural bushland, Westpac Conference Centre is peaceful, secluded, comfortable and yet state of the art conference venue.

All the 55 rooms including 18 executive rooms have:
  • Large ensuite bathrooms
  • Individual air conditioning

  • Tea and coffee making facilities

Pittwater and Ku-ring-gai Chase are nearby, as is a series of northern beaches leading up to Palm Beach, 15 minutes drive away.

Broadband service is provided at the venue. We expect to have a dedicated computer room for delegates to use to send and receive email, search the web or conduct private WebClient demonstrations.

The Westpac Conference Centre has a swimming pool and a wealth of other recreational services for delegates once you have stopped coding your latest WebClient app!
