OzOmnis, AmerOmnis and EurOmnis
Omnis Developer Conferences

OzOmnis is the Australian counterpart of EurOmnis, the highly successful European conference started by Fred Brinkman and Nick Harris for the Omnis developer community. In March 2002 this successful conference format was brought to North America in London, Ontario, Canada by David Ferri, Fred Haislmaier and Clifford Ilkay under the OmnisCentral Americas banner. In 2003 Gavin Foster took over as Joint Convenor of EuroOmnis as Fred Brinkman has now retired from the role.

EurOmnis was created as a forum for Omnis developers from all over the world, especially Europeans, to learn and develop new ideas and techniques, share experiences, collaborate and meet face to face, and discover the latest developments in the Omnis world in a collegial and friendly environment.

Past attendees of EurOmnis all agree that the key ingredients to that conference's format are the use of a facility that is appropriately sized to the conference, a venue with no distractions from the technical sessions, longer, more in depth sessions that are held in the mornings, afternoons and evenings, and the provision of all meals so there is no reason to leave the facility for the entire length of the conference.

The inclusion of transportation to and from the conference from Sydney Airport, and availability of light entertainment are the final touches that complete the package of an all inclusive, highly technical and fun conference. OzOmnis was created to emulate the successful EurOmnis/OmnisCentral Americas formula in a Australian venue. As with EurOmnis/OmnisCentral Americas , everyone is welcome to attend.
